    Baker / Owner
    Michelle was born and raised in South Florida with great appreciation and love for food. Influenced by her grandmother’s scratch-made pasta, biscotti, and empanadas, she started cooking at a young age. After graduating culinary school and gaining experience working in bakeries and restaurants she opened her own bakery in May 2017.

    Del Sol Bakery was a dream born from 6 adventurous years and countless days of baking and critiquing to create the perfect balance of flavors, textures, and aromas in each of her recipes.
  • Fabian Acuna

    Co-Owner of Del Sol Bakery, Fabian Acuna is Michelle’s partner and greatest advocate for the past nine years. Serving as Senior Systems Director at a local e-commerce company during the day, his nights are spent performing as the bassist for Artikal Sound System .

    He currently manages the website and social media for the bakery while acting as the official taste tester.

  • Monica Martinez

    General Manager
    Proud mom of the baker, Monica changed careers and joined Michelle in her new bakery! Originally from Argentina, she launched two small startups in Buenos Aires in 2014. In her previous career Monica managed engineering & development of software and mobile devices for global companies here in South Florida.

    Now, she is all about Del Sol Bakery, visiting customers, setting up vendors, trying to not eat all the bread and having fun with the chaos of running a new business.
  • Melisa Gingold

    Bakery Assistant
    Younger sister of Michelle, Melisa joined the family bakery business in November 2016. She graduated from USF with a Bachelors in Business Management & Marketing in Dec. 2014 and has taken on the marketing role in the business.

    Since then she has been traveling through Central America and sailing the Caribbean doing different work trades gaining experience in hospitality. Upon returning in the fall of 2016, Melisa has been assisting big sis in turning her dream into reality.

  • Jason Gilmer

    Pastry Chef
    Chef Jason joined the girls in May 2017 and brings with him over 20 years of restaurant, hotel and baking experience. As a graduate of CCA and Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, Jason had the opportunity to work in the California food scene.

    Settled down in Delray Beach with his partner and three cats, Jason's love for chocolate is pronounced in the kitchen. With the biggest sweet tooth, he shows his passion in baking desserts, cakes and pastries.
